The department also pointed out that in order to prevent the sewage from overflowing the road upstream due to damage to the drainage pipes, it has implemented emergency sewage diversion measures, including temporary diversion of sewage to the Yuen Long Sewage Treatment Plant and the main nullah of Tin Shui Wai.
