Information from the Fire Services Department: If the patient’s airway is completely obstructed, call 999 to call an ambulance for the "modest treatment"

According to the information of the Fire Services Department, if someone is found to have a throat, such as a patient who is conscious and able to cough hard, first keep calm and encourage the patient to continue coughing, accompany the patient and closely monitor their condition; in addition, if the patient’s airway is completely blocked and cannot cough, You should call 999 to call an ambulance and perform the "Qian Lie Treatment".

The "Qian Lie Treatment Method" involves standing firmly behind the patient's back and embracing his waist with his arms.

Make a fist with one hand, with the thumb facing the patient, and then clen the fist with the other hand.

After that, place your hands on the midline of the patient's abdomen, slightly above the navel, but well below the tip of the xiphoid process of the sternum.

In addition, squeeze the patient's abdomen up and inward with appropriate strength, and apply pressure to the diaphragm.

Repeat the above actions until the patient spit out the foreign body.

Press the patient's abdomen from the back with both hands, and use the air in the lungs to push the foreign body out of the body.

The throat emergency method uses the air in the lungs to push foreign bodies out of the body

Checking the data shows that Li Jiaxing, a specialist in emergency medicine, once accepted an interview with "Hong Kong 01" that most people will experience difficulty in vocalization and asthma when they have a throat, so that people around them know that the patient has a throat and need to call an ambulance immediately.

When waiting for the ambulance, someone can press the patient’s abdomen from the back with both hands, clenching the fist with one hand and clenching the fist with the other. The air in the lung pushes the foreign body out of the body; when a child is unlucky, he can pat the middle of his back with his hand to help cough up the foreign body.

Once the patient is not breathing smoothly and falls into a coma, he should be placed flat on the ground and be subjected to extra-cardiac pressure until the ambulanceman arrives.
