Director Ethan Fox ("Yossi and Jagger," "The Bubble," "Walk on the Water") is working on a new mini-series that will deal with sexual harassment in the religious world.
At the center of the plot will be the story of someone who was the greatest prodigy of the national religious public in Israel, an exemplary family man who mediated between secular and religious, until it became clear that he was having a forbidden relationship with his students.
Through the stories of three of his students, and through the eyes of the rabbi himself, his wife and some of his children, the world of sexual harassment and how to deal with it is revealed in the religious world, from the moment complaints begin to reach the Rabbinical Forum, to the rabbi's resounding conviction.
If this story sounds familiar to you, it is no coincidence, as it is based on the story of one of the best-known rabbis we have all heard about in the last six months.
