A light aircraft landed off the runway in Haifa - probably due to a brake failure.
The plane arrived this morning (Wednesday) at the airport, and failed to brake in time.
There were three people on the plane, who came out of the case unscathed.
The pilot was able to brake the plane only after he got off the runway, and finally braked in the safe area off the runway.

This is a very unusual case, which does not happen often.
The runway in Haifa is significantly shorter than those at Ben Gurion Airport, and cannot contain large aircraft. However, it is large enough for takeoffs and landings of such aircraft, and even larger.
The case was investigated by an aircraft accident investigator.
