The Schleissheim municipal councils are angry.
The church is putting pressure on a housing project to make it happen before a sensitive protected area is expanded.

In the mountain forest itself is the well that supplies Ober- and Unterschleißheim with groundwater.
The water protection area extends to the borders of the quarter, but is to be extended far beyond that.
Mayor Markus Böck (CSU) confirmed plans of the association for water extraction Ober- and Unterschleißheim to extend the protected area to Feldmoching to the Münchner Merkur.
The church property would then be right in the middle.
The plans have been known since 2019.

For the property at Freisinger / Holzhacker Strasse, Lindbüchl would have thought of occupancy rights for daycare educators, for low-wage earners: “I miss that.” Instead, the impression would arise that the church property was being used as profitably as possible.

SPD spokesman Florian Spirkl has no objections to residential construction at this location.
