The joint corona vaccination campaign of

VfR Garching on September 17th
was not only successful, it was record-breaking. The demand for the Malteser Corona vaccination bus was extraordinary. All through Friday, many people from Garching and residents from the surrounding communities gathered in the Business Campus Sportpark to pick up their vaccination against the corona virus and then have a snack at the VfR Garching waffle stand or the Atomics burger grill.
In the end, not only the number of visitors served, but also the number of vaccinated individuals reached a record of over 100 vaccination doses. Since the majority of vaccinated people picked up their first vaccination during the campaign, it was clear: A repetition was needed!

The booster vaccinations in the district of Munich are offered for certain groups of people.
The basic requirement is that the vaccinee completed the first series of vaccinations at least six months ago and that the person to be vaccinated belongs to a certain group of people.

These include people over 80 years of age, residents of care facilities / facilities for people with disabilities and facilities with vulnerable groups, people with immunodeficiency / immunosuppression, people in need of care in their own home, people with a previous vaccination series with a vector vaccine (Astra + Astra / Johnson), Employees in care facilities who have received a complete series of mRNA vaccines and would like to receive a booster vaccination and persons who are in regular contact with infectious people (proof must be brought with you!) ) and a Covid 19 test result that a Covid-19 disease is older than four weeks (if any). Children from twelve to 16 years of age must bring a parent or guardian to be vaccinated.
If there are differences in names, a copy of proof, such as a family register or similar, must be brought with you.
Children from the age of 16 can independently consent to the vaccination and no longer need to bring a declaration of consent or a legal guardian.
The baseball club Garching Atomics, the general sports club VfR Garching and the Maltese vaccination team from the Corona vaccination center in Haar are looking forward to numerous participation and your contribution to the health protection of everyone!
