The craft in the north of Saxony-Anhalt is increasingly recovering from the cuts in the spring of the year - but the Chamber of Crafts sees the economy in danger again due to rapid price increases.
With 55 percent, more than half of the companies currently rate the current situation as good, ten percent report a bad situation, said the Magdeburg Chamber of Crafts on Wednesday on the result of the autumn economic survey.
Magdeburg - The business climate indicator, which also takes expectations into account, is at a high level with 90 out of 100 possible points, and thus only slightly below the pre-crisis value.
The building trade remained a pillar of the economy.
They are well utilized despite price increases and material shortages.
In the main construction and finishing trades, the order books are full for the next eleven weeks on average.
"Even if the mood has improved significantly compared to the spring, we are still very concerned about the further delivery bottlenecks for certain products and the dynamic price development - especially for energy prices", said the President of the Magdeburg Chamber of Crafts, Hagen Bricklayer.
Politicians must intervene.
