It will be an Eriksson helicopter to take away, next week, the remains of the cabin of the Mottarone cable car that crashed on 23 May.

The scrap will be transferred to the intermediate station of the plant and stored there, sheltered from the elements.

These days the firefighters are continuing to build a 'castle' of steel pipes necessary to stabilize the cabin and then remove it.

A delicate operation, also useful to preserve the conditions of the cast head, considered by the experts to be important for understanding the causes of the rope breaking.

For security reasons, the area involved in the operations was banned by decision of the Court of Verbania.

"Anyone who should go near the cabin without having previously agreed on the intervention, for safety reasons, will be removed", specified a note from the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Verbania.
