It's almost normal for Munich's commuters: The regular route will be closed again this coming weekend.

Several trains are affected.

Munich - From Friday evening (October 22nd) at 10:30 p.m. to Monday morning (October 25th) at 4:40 a.m., there are no S-Bahn trains in Munich * on the main route between Pasing * and Ostbahnhof.

The lines start and end at Ostbahnhof or in Pasing or are diverted to the main station above ground.

The S8 bypasses the main route via the Südring.

There is rail replacement service between Pasing and Ostbahnhof: On Saturday (23 October) from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every 7 minutes, otherwise every 10 to 15 minutes.

The station Marienplatz * is not served directly by the SEV, instead the buses stop at Odeonsplatz.

Several underground * lines will also be reinforced with additional trips and will run more frequently.

The reason for the closure: maintenance work and the further modernization of the tunnel stations - and the construction of the 2nd trunk line will continue.

A total of 600 employees are on duty.
