A new and particularly intriguing player is making his way into the fast food market in Israel, with an emphasis on the world of burgers and meat sandwiches.

This is the "Hardee's" hamburger chain that has begun recruiting and meeting with business partners and potential franchisees.

The chain belongs to the global restaurant powerhouse "CKE Restaurants Holdings", which operates about 4,000 branches worldwide under the "Hardi's" and "Carls Jr." brands.

The senior management team of the American company, led by the VP of Sales and Development of International Franchising, Mark Moshkin, will arrive in Israel this December in order to identify a suitable potential partner for the opening of the first branch in Israel.

Entering the Israeli market is another step in the growth of the global network and the development of its activities in the Middle East.

The first branch in Israel will join the group's approximately 4,000 fast service restaurants operating in the United States, Central and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa and Australia, under the two brands of the company.

Hardy's was a pioneer among Western hamburger brands that came to the Middle East.

In 1980 the chain opened its first branch in Kuwait and has since expanded to 12 more countries in the region.

Together with The Americana Group and its licensed partners in most of the region, and together with other franchisees developing additional markets, it has become a powerhouse with over 420 restaurants operating outside the US. When Israel is the only one in the Middle East where the network does not yet operate.

The chain boasts that the burgers sold in the chain are made from 100% Angus meat, the rolls and breads are baked on the spot and the chicken strips are made by hand.

In addition to these, the chain's branches will also offer specials that will be sold for a limited time and other surprises.

Mark Moshkin, VP of International Sales and Development at the chain, said: "We are excited about the launch of the chain's network in Israel and the expansion of its business activities in the Middle East.

Israel has a great reputation in the field of restaurants and is considered a pioneer in the worlds of culinary innovation.

We are looking forward to meeting potential partners in Israel and bringing great new flavor to the Israeli audience.

An analysis of the market potential in Israel that we conducted shows that there is a demand for at least 50 restaurants in the coming years.

This requirement is consistent with Hardy's successful expansion into other markets in the region.

Israel, however, is considered unique in light of the strength of the middle class in the country and its open and dynamic society.

We are looking for suitable candidates with operational and economic capabilities to establish at least 10 to 15 branches in the initial stage of the exclusive development agreement. "
