It is questionable how the district office will react to this.

Hallbergmoos

- With this decision, the Hallbergmoos municipal council followed the motion of Stefan Kronner (SPD).

In doing so, however, one is defying the recommendation of the police and the public order office.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

Residents had already asked several times to set up a 30 zone. So far without success. In July, the police and the public order office inspected the section between Schlittenberg and the exit (towards Moosinning) and came to the unanimous conclusion that the conditions for Tempo 30 did not exist. According to the Neufahrn police station, there has been no evidence of an increased frequency of accidents in this section of the route. There are still facilities such as kindergartens, day-care centers, schools, old people's homes and nursing homes or hospitals that justify a reduction in the maximum speed from 50 to 30 km / h in accordance with the road traffic regulations. Apart from that, Zengerstraße is a community road in the outer area, for which, according to the regulatory office, different standards apply than for a local road.

Confusing curve at the level of the Fischbeck property

Kronner and with him the large majority of the municipal council assess the situation differently: With a very confusing curve at the level of the Fischbeck property, according to Helmut Ecker (unity) and Silvia Edfelder (CSU), there is definitely a considerable danger situation. Especially since the through traffic is not infrequently traveling there at significantly more than the previously permitted 50 km / h. And there is only one-sided or no sidewalk or bike path at all. According to Kronner, some of the children have to run to the school bus on the street. If there is a sidewalk, it is, according to Wolfgang Reiland (unity), with a width of 1.50 meters, narrower than actually required (2.50 meters). In addition, the condition of the roads and paths leaves a lot to be desired. The community has tried several times in the past to expand footpaths and cycle paths. But the undertaking failedas Christian Krätschmer (CSU) reminded, of “too high demands” for the purchase of the property. Stefan Kronner pointed out that even in streets with a similar structure, for example in Schönstraße, Lindenweg or Notzinger Straße, Tempo 30 is set - even against the recommendation of the police. "There are many places in town that are more questionable," he emphasized. Robert Wäger (Greens) suggested thinking about an overtaking ban.to think about ordering a no-overtaking ban.to think about ordering a no-overtaking ban.

Due to legal concerns, Wolfgang Reiland voted against it

In the end, all council groups voted in favor of an order of 30 km / h on the route between Schlittenberg and the exit from the town.

Due to legal concerns, Wolfgang Reiland voted against it.

From his point of view, a restriction to the inhabited areas would have been more advisable.

The municipality now consciously accepts that the legal supervision in the district office objects to the decision.
