The institute also notes that interest in purchasing power has been on the rise for four months: 22 additional points in rural municipalities (55%) and 5 in large urban areas (39%).

While some candidates, like Eric Zemmour, focus most of their discourse on security and immigration, these two issues are actually far behind.
For the first, 30% of the population place it among the three most important subjects - 10% even cite it first.
The second is advanced by 27% of citizens - 9% cite it first.

However, less importance is given to questions of education (17%), the terrorist threat (16%) and taxation (13%).

This same survey also tests the confidence index that the French place in the various candidates.
Emmanuel Macron takes the lead but collects a total confidence of only 30%.
He is followed by Xavier Bertrand (27%), Marine Le Pen (24%), Jean-Luc Mélenchon and Valérie Pécresse (22%), Eric Zemmour (19%), Michel Barnier (18%) and Yannick Jadot (17%) ).
The mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo is at the same level as Nicolas Dupont-Aignan (16%).
