Windsor - Queen Elizabeth II (95) is known for her sense of duty, so the cancellation of her royal tour was all the more surprising.
As reported by 24royal.de *, the regent actually wanted to travel to Northern Ireland for two days on Wednesday (October 20), but her doctors apparently thwarted her plans.

In a statement, a spokesman for the British royal family *, according to media reports, said that her medical team had advised Queen Elizabeth II * against the plans: "The Queen reluctantly accepted the medical advice to rest for the next few days".
A few days ago Queen Elizabeth II was photographed with a walking stick at two appointments *, shortly afterwards it became known that the doctors had imposed a strict alcohol ban on her *.
The latest news is also increasing concerns about their health.
The palace tries to dispel these concerns and emphasized in the report that "Your Majesty is in a good mood [...] and looks forward to a future visit".

Queen Elizabeth II cancels trip: she is taking a break
On the eve of her originally planned trip to Northern Ireland, Queen Elizabeth II attended a reception at Windsor Castle * in a good mood.
There she will probably recover and relax a little in the next few days.
According to the royal calendar, no further appointments are planned for the regent in October, but a trip to Glasgow is scheduled for November 1st.
