Queen Elizabeth II says she is "irritated" and this is the reason 0:45
London (CNN) -
Queen Elizabeth II has "reluctantly" accepted medical advice to cancel a trip to Northern Ireland that was scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, Buckingham Palace said.
In a statement, the palace said the Queen has been advised to rest for the "next few days."
A close source told CNN that it is "not related to covid-19."
"Her Majesty is in good spirits and disappointed that she will no longer be able to visit Northern Ireland, where she planned to make a number of engagements today and tomorrow," the statement said.
"The Queen sends her best wishes to the people of Northern Ireland and looks forward to visiting her in the future," the statement added.
