In view of the increasing number of illegal migrants on the German-Polish border, the AfD parliamentary group wants to request a special session of the Brandenburg state parliament.
This announced parliamentary group leader Christoph Berndt on Wednesday.
An appointment is planned for the coming week.
In a motion for a resolution, his group wanted to demand that Poland be supported in border controls at the border with Germany, but especially at the border with Belarus, said Berndt.
Potsdam - Since August, the number of migrants entering Germany mainly via Belarus has risen sharply.
By Sunday, the officials at the border had registered around 3,000 people, the federal police told the German Press Agency in Potsdam.
