Buthaina Al-Fateh, director of the branch, explained in a statement to SANA Economic Bulletin that the institution’s branch pays salaries monthly through the ATM and the niche in the mail to 11,970 registered retirees, including 7,348 old-age pensions, 179 natural disability pensions, 3,963 death pensions, 300 death pensions resulting from injury, and 180 disability pensions, noting The value of compensations disbursed for work injuries exceeded 9 million, while the value of one-time compensation amounted to about 29.5 million pounds.
She added that the Foundation's branch, since breaking the siege on the city of Deir ez-Zor in late 2017, has worked to reactivate all services through its alternative headquarters, where the electronic network was connected after providing it with computer equipment, and with the efforts of the branch's workers, the files were taken out from the old headquarters located within the liberated city's neighborhoods, which was subjected to sabotage The looting at the hands of terrorist gangs included more than 43,000 files and folders, and 90 percent of the service joining cards and archiving them electronically in order to preserve the rights of the institution and citizens.
Al-Fateeh pointed to the activation of the loan program for retirees, where the value of loans granted to retirees exceeded 13 million pounds, in addition to activating the service inclusion program, where the number of beneficiaries reached 1050 beneficiaries since the beginning of this year, noting that a medical committee was formed to approve certificates of disability and injury and to conduct inspection tours to include workers in the sector The number of workers who were registered reached 538.
