2G and 3G would be used in approximately equal parts in restaurants and hotels, said the managing director of the German Hotel and Restaurant Association (Dehoga) Lower Saxony, Renate Mitulla, the German press agency in Hanover.

According to the health authority, 1150 companies in Hamburg have completely switched to the 2G model in the corona pandemic.
"There is still a positive response," said a spokesman for the German press agency on Friday.
Many companies wanted to convert completely in the coming weeks and months.
"That is expressly in our sense - the access model is an option, from the Senate's point of view a good option, but not a mandatory one."

The control of the vaccination or test records is very time-consuming and, in view of the lack of staff, an additional burden.
If, for example, a restaurant changes over to the 2G model, i.e. only lets vaccinated and convalescent people in, more tables could be set up.
However, many restaurateurs also set up fewer tables with the 2G model than before the pandemic in order to be able to keep a little more distance.
The 2G rule was significantly expanded in Lower Saxony around a month ago - for example in the catering trade, at cultural or sporting events.
Operators and organizers who decide to only grant access to those who have been vaccinated and recovered are exempt from enforcing the mask requirement and distance rules in their companies and facilities.
At 2G, anyone under the age of 18 can go to a restaurant or an event without a corona test, vaccination or recovery.
Football clubs are also allowed to let more fans into the stadiums with the 2G rule.
Last week Hannover 96 played in front of around 40,000 fans in the home stadium.
VfL Wolfsburg had previously opted for the 2G model, which, according to its own statements, has not yet identified any problems.
The model has proven itself well.
The Hanover State Theater will switch to the 2G model in December.
"We have received very little and occasional feedback from people who feel excluded from going to the theater or the opera by the new rule," a spokeswoman said on request.
The vast majority welcomed it.
