More merchants in the Old City came out with harsh words against the rioting young people.
"What do you get out of it? Our places are closing because of you," said one of the traffickers, addressing the violent youths: "No one needs this mess, stop it, we are suffering."
Abu Shadi, who regularly arrives at the Nablus Gate, presents a different view: "It was quiet two weeks ago, but the settlers came with the flag and said racistly: 'Death to the Arabs.' "It is not okay to throw stones, I do not agree with that, but the Nablus Gate looks like a base of army and police."
