A traffic accident occurred in Tsing Yi.
At nearly 6 o'clock in the evening this (20th), a light truck of SF Express collided with another truck at the intersection of Tsing Yi West Road near Liao To Road. During this time, the driver of SF Express was trapped in the compartment.
Police and firefighters arrived at the scene and rescued the trapped driver. Fortunately, the driver was sober after being rescued. The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
The scene was in the direction of the slope of Tsing Yi West Road, in front of the light entrance near the junction of Liao To Road.
Sources at the scene stated that the secret truck involved in the incident drove to the light and stopped at a red light at the traffic light. However, the SF light truck that followed was suspected of failing to collect the vehicle and hit the truck from behind.
The SF driver was trapped and was rescued by the present firefighters. He was soberly sent to the hospital for treatment.
Affected by the accident, traffic on the scene was congested for a time.
