For 30 days, the Cumbre Vieja volcano on the island of La Palma, Spain, has devastated the west face of the island and forced the evacuation of more than 6,000 people.
But, it has also left several wild and domestic animals homeless.
Now, the concern is focused on rescuing some of the animals that did not manage to escape and were trapped between tongues of lava.
