In Malchow on the Mecklenburg Lake District, young people are said to have threatened, attacked and robbed children of a football leisure group from Berlin.
As a police spokesman said on Wednesday, the incident occurred on Tuesday evening when the 13- and 14-year-old Berliners visited a supermarket.
Several young people, probably around 16 years old, are said to have threatened the children there.
Malchow - To avoid a fight, the younger ones went to their accommodation.
On the way, the perpetrators are said to have molested the group and attacked and injured a 14-year-old.
Then they fled with parts of the shopping.
The attacked went to their supervisors, who fetched the police.
The 14-year-old had to be treated briefly in a clinic because of the injuries.
The motive for the argument was initially unclear.

19-year-old is said to have stabbed 35-year-olds
A drunk 19-year-old is said to have stabbed a man with a knife in Hanover.
The 35-year-old was on Sunday night with a woman, the police said.
First of all, they were met by two men who turned into another street.
One of the two men returned and stabbed the 35-year-old several times with a knife.

The police are now looking for three slim 16-year-old youngsters, one of whom is said to have worn a red Liverpool jersey and a second who had a women's bike with him.
With the exception of one boy, all the people on site were German citizens, the police said.
It is being investigated on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm, theft and threat.
