Construction work on the construction of a six-meter-high sculpture made of electronic waste by HA Schult at the Düsseldorf state parliament will begin next Monday.
The Cologne artist wants to show his "value giants" from Tuesday - only for four days.
"The tour counts, not the days," he told the German press agency in advance.
The one-ton sculpture has already been seen in Munich and Hanover and is to be set up after the NRW station in Berlin.
Düsseldorf - According to Schult, the “value giant” represents the electronic waste that German households produce every 72 seconds.
It consists of old washing machines, vacuum cleaners, microwaves and laptops.
The scrap giant is supposed to stand in front of the state parliament in Düsseldorf as a “reminder for our throwaway society” and convey the message “Repair instead of throwing away”.
