(ANSA) - BIELLA, OCTOBER 21 - "I am young and I am here to learn, from today I am putting my enthusiasm to the disposition of my fellow citizens".
This is the inauguration speech delivered this evening by Edoardo De Faveri, who with his 21 years is one of the youngest mayors in Italy.
The ceremony in Zumaglia, just over a thousand inhabitants on the hills of Biella, in the municipal gymnasium, in the presence of the governor of Piedmont, Alberto Cirio.
"It was really exciting, I promised Edoardo that I would be present at his oath and so I did", comments Cirio.
In the administrative elections of 3 and 4 October, the young man fulfilled his dream of becoming mayor by obtaining 65% of the votes.
