Against the background of the discovery of the new Delta variant, morbidity numbers continue to decline meanwhile • 1,025 infections were diagnosed in the last day • The rate of positives - the lowest since July • About 700,000 people have not yet received even one vaccine

Morbidity in decline, but a worrying trend in the rate of immunization:

1,025 people were diagnosed yesterday with corona.

This is according to an update from the Ministry of Health published tonight (Thursday) and as of 5:41 p.m.

A total of 101,314 tests were performed yesterday and the positive rate stands at 1.06% - the lowest since July 11th.

The number of serious patients continues to decline and stands at 318. This is the lowest figure since August 6, when 277 patients were hospitalized in the hospitals.

Within exactly three weeks, the number of severely ill patients was cut in half.

On September 30, the number of patients was 638.

The number of respirators is 149. The total number of active patients in Israel is 14,1677.

The coefficient of infection decreased slightly from 0.77 to 0.75.

8,035 people died in the outbreak in Israel.

Six patients died yesterday.

The alarming news comes from the pace of immunization.

Due to the fear of the new variant that broke out in the UK and was also discovered in Israel, the number of new vaccinators is declining.

In the first dose, we vaccinated 2,124 people yesterday, in the second dose 2,069 and in the third dose - 9,844.

For comparison, eight days ago (a week in relation to the current data), on October 20, 3,185 people were vaccinated in the first dose, in the second 2,305 and in the third -13,361.

About 700,000 people from the population aged 12 and over have not yet been vaccinated.

Earlier, the new tourism outline of the prime minister and health and tourism ministers was published, which will take effect on November 1st.

The outline will for the first time allow tourists, only vaccinated, to enter Israel.

In this way, tourists will be able to return to visit the country for the first time after 20 months.
