While trying to help a truck driver, a 75-year-old was run over and seriously injured.
The truck driver wanted to leave the premises of a company in the north Hessian Wehretal with his truck on Thursday morning, as the police in Eschwege announced.
But suddenly the wind hit one side of the wooden gate in front of the exit.
The 75-year-old rushed to the truck driver's aid to open the gate again.
Eschwege - The driver apparently did not notice this and caught the helpful man with the truck. The 75-year-old fell to the ground and suffered serious injuries to his head and both legs.
He was taken to a hospital.
