An unknown perpetrator in Erfurt brought an 80-year-old woman from her savings. The fraudster pretended to be a public prosecutor on Wednesday and claimed that the elderly woman's daughter had caused a fatal traffic accident, the police said on Thursday. Now a deposit of 20,000 euros has to be paid. The elderly woman withdrew the money from her account and handed it over in the city center.
