Assault in Nuremberg: Man snatches the wallet from senior woman - police are looking for witnesses

On October 20, an unknown man snatched the wallet of a senior citizen on Rathenauplatz.

The police are now asking for evidence.

Nuremberg - On Wednesday (October 20), a stranger stole the wallet of a senior citizen at Rathenauplatz in Nuremberg *.

Around 1 p.m., the woman noticed that a man was tampering with the zipper of her backpack.

When she turned to him, he forcibly tore the bag open.

The entire content was distributed on the floor, reports the Central Franconia Police Headquarters *. 

Nuremberg: Police are looking for witnesses to the incident

A scuffle broke out in which the man bumped into the woman and snatched the wallet from her.

Then he fled in the direction of Bayreuther Strasse.

The elderly woman was unharmed.

According to her, the perpetrator is about 1.70 m tall and has short, dark hair.

The Nuremberg police asked witnesses to the incident to call (0911) 21 12 33 333.
