Mittenwald - With the series of events "Culture and culinary art in the autumn light", the Alpenwelt Karwendel is trying to exploit the potential of the autumn time after the "Corona Lockdown" through an attractive season extension into November.
"As is well known, the marketing campaign planned for 2020 prevented the corona lockdown," remembers the deputy managing director Manuel Huber, "this year our campaign under the motto autumn without end is thinking of both holiday guests and interested locals".
Until mid-November, various alpine and fish farmers, Lüftlmaler and schnapps distillers in the Alpenwelt Karwendel really work hard. “Regional artists, creative business people and companies can be looked over their shoulders”, explains Patrick Wagner, who is responsible for events in the Alpine world, “they give the participants an insight into their work” (see autumn extension box). In addition to the hosts and artists, the hiking buses are also being extended. Until November 14th, you will be heading to important start and end points of the hiking trails in Mittenwald, Krün and Wallgau and many excursion destinations in the region. "For overnight guests with the free AlpenweltCard," Wagner recalls, "these hiking buses and the RVO buses in the district are free".
