After the controversy between J Balvin and Residente over the Latin Grammy nominations, Bad Bunny also had something to say.

"I can understand a point from Balvin in that yes, perhaps, they profit from the popularity of the reggaeton genre for ratings and should, perhaps, take more into account the productions, the songs that come out of reggaeton. But at the same time I've understood René for a long time and there are many things in which I agree with him, "said the Puerto Rican singer in a radio interview on the Alofoke Radio Show program in the Dominican Republic.

Bad Bunny explained that artists like him, as well as Balvin, Anuel or Ozuna are usually in all the awards, so the Latin Grammy awards give him exposure and offer "a balance" to other artists and genres that do not have the exhibition.

And while he showed his support for other artists, the reggaeton artist said that the nominations for his album "The Last World Tour" fell short.

“I think I should have received a little more nominations.

For example, Balvin was nominated 'Water', that is, he was the one who was upset and he was nominated 'Water'.

I judge the Grammys not nominate 'Water' or the Nickelodeons, "he said.

Bad Bunny concluded by saying that the best thing about the song "Agua".

"The most c ***** of 'Agua' is the track that Tainy did, but I don't consider it a song that says 'heck, that deserves a Grammy,'" said the Puerto Rican singer.

The viral conflict between Balvin and Residente

Balvin indicated that the Latin Recording Academy did not value them and that they did not respect the urban genre.

"The Grammys don't value us, but they need us. It's my opinion and nothing against other genres because they deserve all the respect. But the trick is boring. We give them Rating but they don't give us respect. (Pd. I'm nominated for Don't come, I'm hurt) ", read the tweet posted on J Balvin's official account, which was deleted.
