Kaufbeuren - Because of Corona it was a back and forth for a long time. Now the action group (AK) Kaufbeuren was able to make a decision.
The 19th edition of the popular Kaufbeurer candlelight shopping takes place.
"Due to the current Corona regulations, the process will be a little different this year," says Simone Page, who is responsible for candlelight shopping on the board of the AK.
So they agreed on two days with different opening times: Thursday, November 11th and Friday, November 12th.
“The shops will then be open until 8 p.m.” The usual opening time until 10 p.m. is not possible this year.
Just like the cultural offerings on the streets, which have to be canceled due to the corona.
According to Simone Page, outdoor catering takes place to a limited extent.
As usual, however, the facades in a large part of the city center will be attractively illuminated from 5 p.m.
