It is a flourishing idea that is now being implemented: a cherry blossom avenue was planted in Glonnpark in Allershausen on Thursday morning.

Allershausen

- The Allershausen artist Chun Wha and her husband Josef Krauthäuser live directly on Glonnfeld and have a view of the neighboring Glonnpark from their apartment. “My wife was always missing something when she looked into the park,” said Josef Krauthäuser at the opening of the planting campaign. The artist then painted a picture with an avenue of Japanese cherry blossoms, while painting the idea came up that it was precisely this blaze of color that could enhance Glonnfeldpark. The couple donated the money for three trees for their three grandchildren. From then on, people collected and asked for donations via their own homepage (www.baeume-fuer-allershausen.de) - with great success. Josef Krauthäuser announced that they already have the money for 24.8 trees. Shortly before the first campaign with the twelve trees, a large donation came in. "It will surely go on",said cabbage houses and announced part two of the planting campaign for spring.

Until then, the campaign will continue and the number of other trees with which the Glonnfeldpark is to become a natural attraction in spring will depend on the donations.

Among other things, the artist Chun Wha offered the painting of the cherry blossom avenue in order to acquire more money for the tree donation account through an auction.

The humble woman said of the planting, "that our pink dream is now coming true".

She emphasized that mother earth provided people with food and that something could be given back to creation with such plantings.

Both people and nature benefit from this

In addition to the positive consequences for nature and its fauna, the Allershausen Park would bring joy to generations of people at the cherry blossom.

Mayor Martin Vaas also received a lot of praise, who had already answered the request after four days with the okay for the project.

"If no other authorities have to be involved, then mayors can also decide quickly," said Vaas.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

He thinks the idea of the cherry blossom avenue is great and is happy to support it.

During the festive opening planting, he then picked up the shovel and supported his building yard employees.

Until the next planting in spring, the question will then be clarified whether an avenue can really be created that would then require trees on both sides of the path.

Corresponding stakes have already been set across from the first twelve trees, but here the farmer of the adjacent field still has to give the green light.

Mayor Martin Vaas also said that they would speak here.

Specifically, it is about the shading of part of the field.

In addition, many trees can be planted along the way.
