Animals are often smarter than us humans - or they are simply less constrained than we are.

I noticed that twice yesterday.

A rather stiff breeze, caused by the foehn storm, did not prevent me and other people from a morning run.

In the old abandoned north cemetery in Munich Schwabing, when the weather is nice, the squirrels cavort as soon as it gets light.

But yesterday the nuts I brought with me remained untouched in my pocket.

It was probably too drafty for the Oachkatzln and so they stayed in their warm Kobeln.

Our editorial staff Corona did not show up either.

In view of the gusts, the cunning bird probably preferred to linger in a corner with no wind.

Only the stupid person cycled to work, moved by the wind in serpentine lines.
