Gaming Updates: A Leading Streamer Has Launched a Fake Care Product Collection? | Israel today

Trying to smear us?

Absolutely real.

Valkyrae (29-year-old Rachel Hofstetter) has launched a collection of skincare products designed to protect the delicate facial skin of gamers from "blue light pollution" caused by digital screens.

The problem is that the collection, RFLCT, which was launched in an extensive launch campaign and includes mostly creams and serums, is defined by many as a scam, as studies show that the damage to skin from exposure to blue light is minimal, and certainly does not justify buying tens of dollars.

Although the streamer claims to its millions of followers that "the products are fortified with vitamins designed to minimize the damage done to the skin and are intended for anyone who uses the screen," not everyone agrees with it.

Dr. Ludger Kolba, for example, a senior scientist at the German company Beiersdorf, which manufactures skin care brands Niva and Abel, among others, claims that "the amount of blue light emitted when using screens is minor, does not harm the skin and is in fact almost undetectable."

Valkyrae's response to the allegations has not yet been received.

there is a God

Sony is releasing another of its exclusive PC hits.

God of War, released for the PlayStation 4 in 2018, will hit PC on January 14, 2022 and will support 4K resolution.

In doing so, Sony continues its intriguing trend of releasing exclusive PlayStation games in PC versions about four years after their release date on the console, in order to get those who missed them for the first time and still do not have a PlayStation, to run to buy a console.

The Japanese company even promises that unlike Microsoft, for example, which also releases its Xbox games to the computer at the time of the original launch, the new PlayStation games will continue to enjoy a number of years of exclusivity on the console.

There's still no word on The Last Of Us for PC, though, but this is the place to mention that the Uncharted Legacy Of Thieves Collection, a package with remasters of Uncharted The Lost Legacy and Uncharted 4, will arrive on the PlayStation 5 and PC early next year, near the release of the movie based on The games.

Hello and thank you

Activision-Blizzard wants you to know that more than twenty employees have "left" it since the explosion of sexual harassment and gender discrimination in the company, and a similar number of employees have been punished (a total of 9,500 people work in the company).

"No matter what your rank or position, if you have behaved inappropriately or if you are a manager who has restrained behavior that is not in line with company values, then we will act on the issue," said Fran Townsend, vice president of Activision-Blizzard.

Townsend even announced an update to the company's code of ethics and the recruitment of a new team whose entire role will be to investigate the many allegations of the injured workers.

And yet, the company is refraining from putting its logo on the trailer of the new Voice of Duty.

I wonder why.

Anyone still interested?

It could not be more embarrassing than that: after the awful launch of Cyberpunk 2077 to previous generation consoles in September 2020, many gamers preferred not to risk waiting for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions to experience the action-role-playing game in question.

It seems that they will continue to wait, as CD Projekt has announced the postponement of the launch of the improved edition of the title for the first quarter of 2022 - about a year and a half after the game first came out - and this date is not final either.

Want more?

Please: The next generation console version of The Witcher 3 (excellent, it should be noted) has also been postponed to the second quarter of next year.

Although the Polish games distributor apologizes and claims that she "needs some more time to release the games properly," it is quite clear that something bad is happening to her.

At this rate, the real 2077 will already arrive and we still will not get a proper version of cyberpunk consoles (the computer version is actually reasonable, we are not that anti).
