The International Financial Action Task Force "Gavi" International today placed the Turkish regime "under surveillance" due to terrorist financing and shortcomings in combating money laundering.
"There are still serious problems" regarding Ankara's status, announcing Turkey's placement on the "grey list," the group's president, Marcus Blair, was quoted by the French press agency as saying during a press conference.
The inclusion of a country on the gray list of the "Gavi" organization, which includes 39 members, would create negative repercussions in the field of foreign investments, which could increase the deep economic crisis that Turkey is already suffering from due to the policies of the Turkish regime.
The events and facts over the past years have proven the involvement of the regime of Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the government of the Justice and Development Party in supporting, financing and arming terrorist organizations in Syria, in addition to making Turkey a corridor for the crossing of thousands of terrorists from different countries of the world into Syrian territory.
