Global Health: Distributing one billion doses of Corona vaccines in Europe

The World Health Organization announced that about one billion doses of a vaccine against the Corona virus have been provided in Europe.

AP quoted Hans Kluge, WHO's regional director for Europe, as saying: "This progress means that about a third of the region has been vaccinated," stressing at the same time the need to increase the use of the vaccine and overcome regional differences in order to contain the pandemic.

According to the organization, Europe witnessed an increase in the number of coronavirus infections estimated at 7 percent last week.
