The first game of Danny Abdia's second season in the NBA held tonight (Wednesday through Thursday) ended in a 83:98 lead for the Wizards over the Raptors.
Abdia was on the floor for 21 minutes and sealed the game with 8 points.
As you may recall, the 20-year-old Israeli returned to the floor on the night between Saturday and Sunday, for the first time since the ankle fracture about six months ago.
"Everyone is trying to help me and giving me advice and I listen to every word they say. We have been through a good preparation period, I feel ready and looking forward to a good season opener," he said at a news conference this week.

"My first goal is for the team to succeed, I want to be the first Israeli in the playoffs and get as far as possible, even if it means coming from the bench and not from the top five, that's fine," he added.
