The Coordination of 15 October canceled the march which yesterday requested authorization.
This was communicated by the Police Headquarters, which had instead authorized the demonstration.
The Coordination of 15 October revoked the notice deposited at the Police Headquarters.
Shortly before, the route had been made known.
The no green pass procession should have started at 2 pm from largo Riborgo to end in piazza Unità, which became the site of the protest since last Monday after the eviction from Varco 4.
The dockers had given their support to the demonstration, however repudiating the violence.
"We will work to keep the demonstration peaceful - the dockers said - as we have done so far because we love our job and our city. We will try to keep people calm, so that it continues peaceful". Are riots expected? "With the influx of people who have been there, surely someone will come who will point to disorder. We do not want this and it will not be our responsibility if there is disorder". The dockers recalled in particular the invitation to animate the other Italian squares, "to give strength to the protest". And compared to the start of the demonstration at the port, they added: "We started a protest for the port, hoping that the people of Trieste would join, no one expected the turnout that there was, no one organized this".
