Thailand in a dramatic announcement:
Vaccinated tourists and children from 46 countries - including Israel - will be able to enter the country freely starting November 1.
Meaning: There will be no need to stay for a whole week at the first destination you are traveling to, as it has been so far.
During the first four months since the opening of Thailand, Phuket was the main destination where Israelis landed, and they were forced to stay in the city for a full week until they were allowed to reach the next destination.
It is important to emphasize that currently recovering can not enter Thailand until further notice.
The issue is being examined by the authorities, and the decision may change soon.
The decision of the Thai government has quite a few implications, including an impact on other Asian countries that have opened at a slow pace in recent months.
Among the countries that are expected to open soon: Vietnam, the Philippines, Signpor, Cambodia and other countries.
It is important to take into account that after landing in Thailand isolation will still be needed for only one day, until the results of the corona tests to be performed after landing in the country are obtained.
At the same time, all tourists will be required to perform a corona check before the flight to Thailand.
