Around four weeks after an incident at a demonstration by Fridays for Future in Nettetal in the Viersen district, the police are looking for witnesses.
At the rally for climate protection with around 80 participants on September 24, a driver drove towards the meeting, the police announced on Thursday.
About 20 participants should have avoided.
Nettetal - It was only when a demonstrator hit the windshield with a placard that the car stopped.
According to the notification, no participant was injured.
The driver then drove away.
The police are now asking the participants to provide photos or videos of the incident in order to clarify the driver's motive.
Due to the political background, the police state security has taken over the investigation.
