There was an economic loss of around 5.8 million euros.
That comes from the vehicle theft report of the Association of the German Insurance Company (GDV), which was presented on Thursday.
Berlin / Magdeburg - Nationwide, a total of 10,697 cars were reported stolen in 2020, 25 percent fewer than in the previous year.
The amount of the economic damage is almost 214 million euros.
