Insurer: fewer cars stolen in Saxony-Anhalt in 2020

According to the insurer, a good third fewer cars were stolen in Saxony-Anhalt last year than in 2019. A total of 321 insured vehicles were reported as stolen in the state. Berlin / Magdeburg - Nationwide, a total of 10,697 cars were reported stolen in 2020, 25 percent fewer than in the previous year.

The amount of the economic damage is almost 214 million euros.

According to the report, most cars were stolen in Berlin in 2020 (2267) - in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, on the other hand, the number is the lowest.
