At 8:56 pm today (21st), the police received the bus captain stating that a suspicious sharp needle-like object was found on the bus.
When a bus captain drove the 59X bus to Mong Kok East Station Terminus, he was informed by a female passenger that a sharp needle was found on the right seat near the center of the upper deck. After learning of the incident, the bus captain drove the bus back KMB Lai Chi Kok Depot called the police.
In response to the report, the police sent officers to investigate, inspected and confirmed that the sharp needle-like object on the bus seat was a 3 cm sewing needle. After the investigation, no one was injured in the incident, and the police temporarily classified the case as property damage.
KMB received a reply from a reporter from "Hong Kong 01" stating that a sewing needle was found in the upper seat of a bus at night, and the bus drove back to the depot and called the police.
KMB attaches great importance to the incident and will cooperate with the police in its investigation.
The bus drove back to the tail station of Changzhijiao Depot to report to the police.
