“Criminals carried out their criminal activities through online multiplayer games and social networks.

The rescued minors are users of the video game "Free Fire", which is characterized by being able to download from any mobile device for free and has a high content of violence.

They have to compete against other users and whoever kills others with firearms wins to survive ”.

Berdeja said that there are no real restrictions on downloading the game and that, having no control, it represents a risk.

"Garena Free Fire" is a survival game that can be downloaded from a mobile device and in which it is possible to interact with up to 50 players.

It is developed by the Garena company for Android and iOS platforms and has a rating warning in which it recommends the game for people over 17 years old.

In the terms of service the company says that minors require parental consent to play.

CNN made a request to Garena to know its position on the download restrictions of its game on mobile devices and on the security for its users in one of its games “Garena Free Fire”.

So far we have not received a response.
