District - From October 9th to 17th, the district circuit went into its 37th round and again motivated many sports enthusiasts to take part. For the first time there was the U10 trial run. Here children under the age of 10 competed in a team of 6 and each ran a distance of 800 meters. The Starnberg District Office and the BLSV hope to be able to carry out the 38th Starnberg District on October 8, 2022 again centrally in Andechs.
A total of 150 teams competed. Of these, 13 were women’s, 16 men’s, 32 mixed, 26 companies / authorities, 22 children and now the trial run teams with 26 teams. The primary school in Inning, supported by the sports club SV Inning, took part with great enthusiasm. Running fans from the districts of Bad Dürkheim, Calw and Central Saxony as well as the Weilheim water management office also took part with 15 teams. The sponsors TQ Systems, 3M and Xenofit with their teams have also competed. A big thank you goes to these, as well as the two other sponsors, the Kreissparkasse München Starnberg Ebersberg and the AOK.
District Administrator Stefan Frey: “It's nice to see that so many people can get excited about the Landkreislauf Light Version too.
Nevertheless, I am looking forward to experiencing the event live again next year with all participants! "
Despite the pandemic, this year's district circuit was a great success.
Susanne Niggl, Alfred Mandl, Herbert Ober, Werner Pellikan, Lorenz Schmidt, Detlef Schneider and Sepp Voggesser took part for the 37th time.
It is particularly gratifying that a total of 48 children's teams ran.
That speaks for the future of further districts.
