Poland challenges Europeans, the health pass raises strong opposition in the Assembly and Eric Ciotti wants to broaden national preference.

Dear subscribers,

Poland has seriously upset the European Union by believing that EU law will not take precedence over its national law.

Enough to trigger a crisis that the Union would like to contain, fearing that the Polish position will give ideas to the other Member States.

Finding the right way to resolve the dispute is not easy for Brussels, which must choose between sitting down and doing nothing or calling Warsaw to order by putting pressure on it, in particular via financial sanctions.

On this October 21, we wish Célines a happy birthday and a very good day to all our other readers!
