Malware discovered at the State Office for Internal Administration

The state IT service provider DVZ has discovered new malware in the network of the state office for internal administration (LAiV).

"A connection with last week's attack on the IT service provider KSM is currently not recognizable," said the DVZ on Thursday.

As an immediate preventive measure, the LAiV had been separated from the national administration network "CN LAVINE" as a precaution.

Schwerin - The IT systems of the statistics and the initial reception facilities in Horst and Stern Buchholz are affected by this measure.

As the service provider announced, investigations are currently being carried out on the country's central computer emergency team.
