The 26-year-old is now behind bars, as the police announced on Thursday.
Accordingly, the man in the pedestrian zone had stood in the way of the civilian patrol vehicle for no apparent reason and prevented the officers from driving.
Karlsruhe - "Because of his behavior, he was subsequently subjected to a personal check, which he loudly disapproved of," it said.
He also insulted the officials.
Finally, it turned out that there were four arrest warrants against the man.
For example, he was obliged to pay fines of around 2380 euros because of fraudulent performance and insults.
Since he could not raise the money, he now has to spend 133 days in detention as an alternative, it was said.
