The name of François Baroin's successor as President of the Association of Mayors of France will be known on November 17.
As part of the 103rd AMF Congress, local elected officials will be invited to choose between David Lisnard, Les Républicains mayor of Cannes (Alpes-Maritimes), and Philippe Laurent, UDI mayor of Sceaux (Hauts-de-Seine).
The duel between these personalities who defend their legitimacy to chair voluntarily the first association of elected officials in France hides two other highly strategic elections: that of the office and that of the steering committee.
