Now it's going faster than expected: On Monday, October 25th, 9 a.m., the Merian Bridge in Gernlinden is to be opened to traffic again.
Maisach / Gernlinden - As reported from the Maisach town hall, the construction work has now progressed so far that vehicles are allowed to enter the bridge again.
The passage had been closed since February.
The renovation was originally supposed to be completed by the end of August.
But then the closure was extended to the end of November as a precaution due to problems with the statics.
One month earlier you are now ready to go through.
