Hama-Sana

(From You We Draw Hope) is the title of the art exhibition that was held in the exhibition hall at the Cultural Center in Salamiyah, in the eastern countryside of Hama, and included a group of young artistic talents.

The paintings included in the exhibition dealt with various topics embodied by the fingers of 43 male and female students between the ages of 15 and 18, touching on topics that included nature, man and the homeland with an artistic vision specific to each participant.

The head of the center, Hanan Al-Qusair, confirmed to SANA Cultural that these exhibitions constitute an opportunity for artistic talents to unleash their creativity and look at things from a different perspective, noting that through follow-up, training, perseverance and capacity development, the participants in these exhibitions have the experience to present beautiful and distinguished art.

In turn, the plastic artist, Aghid Al-Hajj, found the exhibition as embodying the dreams and aspirations of talented people who were keen in their works to draw the human being and various aspects of his suffering and how to get rid of it, especially since the exhibition included various paintings that included nature and Syrian civilization in addition to new artistic ideas and products.

The artist, Nagham Al-Hayek, stated that the participants tried to integrate the paintings to express the person, his thought and the details of his life through colors, most of which were cold in nature, suggesting depression and fatigue, and in the end there is a glimmer of hope and great optimism after passing this stage.

The artist Manal Farag indicated that the exhibition included paintings that express steadfastness despite all the suffering experienced by man and his defiance of all circumstances, especially the young group, and other paintings that reflect the reality of the situation of Syrian actors who left fingerprints in the hearts of Syrians because Syrian drama is linked to plastic art.
