Another NIS 120 million will be transferred to the health budget, among other things to strengthen the hospitals' financial stability.
This was announced last night (Thursday) by the chairman of the coalition and the Health Committee, MK Idit Silman (right), after marathon negotiations in the Cap Law (a law that regulates the rules of accounting between the health funds and the hospitals; MI).
According to the agreement with the Ministries of Finance and Health, an additional NIS 100 million will be allocated to the hospitals' budget, in addition to NIS 2.4 billion in the existing budget, which will be transferred under the new law from retrospective budgeting through support and subsidy tests.
An additional NIS 20 million will be distributed according to an outline to be determined later.
MK Silman: "We are doing everything possible to give more air into the system.
We fought for it and brought in sums, after a long period of time without budgets. "
The state budget will be submitted to the Knesset for approval in the third reading on November 13.
The health budget is expected to be about NIS 54 billion in total.
